About the Artist
Chris has been an active member of the jewellery industry for more than 40 years. Chris served as Guild Vice President 1997-2000, President of the Guild 2001 -2002, 2011 -2012 and 2021 - 2023 and acting Treasurer GSGA 2021 -2023. Over the period 2000-2009 Chris was the Coordinator of Jewellery and Senior Educator at Melbourne Polytechnic (NMIT) TAFE in Victoria. Chris has a studio in Geelong, Victoria and produces work for private and corporate clients and has undertaken work for the Victorian Government. A recent commission was the refurbishment of the Ceremonial Mace used in Victoria's Parliament House. A specialist in making platinum jewellery he is able to work with all manner of diamonds and precious stones.
